Classic Arcade Video Review — Tempest

In 1981 Atari released Tempest — their first color vector arcade game. It is a complete classic. A great arcade game to add to your game room, as the look of the vector monitor is truly unique and the game is controlled by a spinner knob. The one reviewed here is a cabaret style — so it can easily fit in a tight spot.

Thanks for this. I am in the process of converting a generic cabaret cabinet into a Tempest.

Happy to pass it on…such a cool game. Wish I had one. It is on the grail list.

WoW the sound the spinner made before he started playing brought back some memories.

Hopefully I will get one some day and of course, what is mine is yours.
